CNR-PC2 and CNR-PC3 available now

New batch
As the CNR-PC1 was quickly sold out in December last year, Canyon decided to produce another batch of white-orange multimedia PCs in March. This new batch contains two models: the CNR-PC2 and CNR-PC3. Apart from the fact that the CNR-PC2 uses a Intel Dual-Core processor and the CNR-PC3 an AMD Dual-Core processor, the two new models are identical. The new batch of PC2s and PC3s differs to the first batch of PC1s on a number of specifications.

Performance
The new PCs operate with a 2GB internal memory while the CNR-PC1 had 1GB. Canyon doubled the internal memory to guarantee that the PC is according to the latest requirements. The VGA card improved accordingly: from a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT to a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT. The picture will be displayed sharper and better than before. Thanks to these improvements the PC performs better and large programs or games will run easily.

Functionality
To increase the functionality of the new PCs, they are provided with a card reader that’s built in the case. The card reader can read all regular card used now-days, such as a SD-card, a compact flash card and a memory stick. Also a new monitor is bundled with the new PCs. This 19” wide screen monitor is a beautifully designed monitor of excellent quality. The picture refreshes every 5 milliseconds and the maximum resolution is 1440 x 900 pixels. This Canyon monitor not only suits the design and quality of the PC better than the previous one, it also contains an integrated speaker. This speaker is ideal for simple sound solutions while using the PC. If however a more decent sound quality is desired with a subwoofer, Canyon’s matching CNR-SP21C speaker is to be advised.
